The key is to have three products that fit into any bag or cosmetic bag - lipstick, mascara, and concealer to make your look stylish. Summer comes easy when makeup is at minimum, yet polished and refined, fresh and rejuvenating, with a dash of color on the face that attracts attention.
We're going to go with a concealer that has soft lightening properties and reflective particles that can make you look awake, well rested and. There is, of course, the inevitable cult classic - YSL Touche Éclat, whom I love. How to apply and use it can be checked in my recently published post for the celebration of the 25th birthday of Touche Éclat.
There is another concealer for all those who want to look rested. It can also be used by women who just love mineral cosmetics because it is a product that does not cause irritation and has excellent coverage. I’m all about bareMinerals Stroke of Light Eye Brightener Concealer. Melts into to the skin and does not require any tools, only your fingers. You can also see this corrector in the action in this recently released video that shows my everyday look.
We want to apply a mascara that will meet our needs. Some of us want longer eyelashes, some need more definition while some of us want volume. I'm sure you have some favorite mascara, but my recommendation is to look for L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Fatale that will give phenomenal volume. CHANEL Dimensions de CHANEL for definition and a more natural look. For longer eyelashes I like the Lancome Hypnose Mascara.
Lips are in red and pink shades, so I choose Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Roses or Lancome Matte Shaker Liquid lipstick. I like to blend it with my fingers. If you prefer a sharp outline on your lips, check out my post on perfect lipstick.
If you are not a fan of matte, velvety textures, try something like bite Amuse Bouche Lipstick, which are so silky and fine (and made from edible ingredients) that you can eat them.
A guide to rose/pink lipsticks can be found on this link, and if you are interested in the red shades check them out on this link.
