Some of the most common questions I get asked by my clients is how to use and apply concealer. Concealer is a very good and realible make-up friend who can help us transform the face. I'm sure you all know how we can apply concealer on imperfections on the face and thereby make them less visible. Concealer can deminish the appearance of dark circles, cover tiny capillaries and veins, as well as scars on our face and body. But where else can we use concealer?
The first place where you can additionally add your concealer is on the area around the nose. Women often have hyperpigmentation or redness in that area, which is linked to the production of hormones. The color of this area can change from day to day, making it an ideal candidate for concealer. Concealer around the nose should always be in the shade of your complexion.
In addition to dark circles, apply concealer on the outer, but also on the inner corner of the eye. This will visually enlarge the eyes, open them up, and thereby get a fresh look. Depending on the skin type, to achive the effect of a facelit, select a concealer in shades of your complexion or slightly lighter.
You can always apply it to the eyelids. You will reduce the discoloration and hyperpigmentation. Concealer will serve as a base for eyeshadow or you can put a light layer of loose powder on top of it.
If you purchase a corrector that has light reflective perfromance or want to use up that one concealer that is lighter than your complexion, I have good news for you - you can use both of them as a highlighter for the face. Apply them to the high points of your face such as the cheeks, below the eyebrows, on top of the nose and above qupids bow.You instantly look refreshed and awake.
