The base is excellent to start with. The base is the basis of everything and in spite of what you can combine texture powder with liquid textures, try combinations of the same texture for a better effect. For example, apply a cream or liquid blush on the liquid base, foundation or powder. Cream blush will merge with the skin and become almost imperceptible flush of blush on the cheeks. For this type of combination products you don't need brushes. You can blend it all with your fingers. It is a great way to improve your make-up when you are in a hurry. It's ideal to wear them on a daily because they give your face an extra glow and healthier look throughout the day.
Once you've set your liquid foundation in place, you can start to play with blushes with 'baked' blushes. They are applied with a slightly larger and softer brushes in small quantities. Today's blushes are highly pigmented and you don't want apply too much blush in first swipe, aplly little by little, gradually adding more blush for the desired effect. In this way, the compakt or baked blush melts and further extends the durability of the creams, which is why this is the perfect technique for hot evenings out.
Stains have become popular recently, but on the scale of pigmentation and natural looking they are above cream blush. They can be often worn on the lips, so you get a same lip and cheek color, which can look very natural. On days when you don't wear powder and makeup, choose a stain just to restore a little color in your face.
