To start off, use waterproof mascara that will not smear around the eyes or under the eye area, on the first mention of water or oil. This will ensure a flawless complexion and bright, pristine, smudge free area. The simplest wayis to apply mascara on bottom lashes is to use smaller brushes and brushes with smaller bristles. You will simply draw every hair individually and mascara will be applied evenly so you'll have less chances for your mascara smearing under there. If by any chance you can't find applicator small enough, look for plastic disposable applicators that are smaller in size and use them with any mascara. Once you have found the best brush, don't throw it in the trash after you use up your mascara. Wash and clean them and use with any other mascara.
If you are in a hurry, try applying mascara on lower lashes first then on top. That way mascara from the upper lashes will not smear.
For even more impressive lower lashes you can use false eyelashes. Choose the right sized falsies that fit you perfectly or consider partial lashes. If you opt for partial lashes, apply them with transparent adhesive so you don't have to go over it with a pencil or eyeshadow.
Brown mascara can do wonders for your bottom lashes. It gives natural look without having emphasizes eyelashes too much. Gives out subtle definition.
One super fun trick that anyone can try is colored mascara. tI looks great when it is applied to the lower lashes, especially in shades which complement the natural color of the eyes. If you avoid to wear colored mascara, now is a good time to try it. More about colored mascara trend can be found right here.
