As we already know, concealers can be used to cover dark circles and all irregularities on the face, ranging from redness to hyperpigmentation, therefore we must keep in mind their consistency and skin type. I wrote about and all the unexpected places where you can use a concealer and you can read it here. Now that we know how to use it, read up on choosing the right concealer.
Undereye area must be well moisturized for best application. Also there is this thing of reducing premature fine lines and keeping the area wrinkle free.
I chose best drugstore concealers in this post for you guys, so here they are.
L'Oreal True Match Concealer has a creamy texture and medium to strong coverage. Camouflages dark circles nicely, even more moderate hyperpigmentation can be covered as well. Blends in the skin perfectly and dries to a semi matte finish. Gives of more of a velvety appearance, which contributes to the final natural appearance.
Maybelline Affinitone concealer is creamier than L'Oreal True Match. Leaves a light glow on the skin, merging with the skin and becomes unnoticeable. Coverage is slightly stronger than previously mentioned and I recommend it for use on dry skin.
Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer has a medium coverage and can be layered to full coverage- Blends nicely with the skin but I would recommend it for people with combination skin because it can make wrinkles more pronounced on dry skin.
Catrice Liquid Waterproof Camouflage concealer is great when applied with your fingers because the heat further melts the concealer and makes a creamier consistency and easier to apply. It has a medium to strong coverage and really very good looking in the area with wrinkles. Make sure you blend it quickly otherwise it may be difficult to blend properly.
BeautyUK conceal correct concealer has slightly less coverage but has beautiful consistency and applies velvety. Lightweight texture is very creamy. Diminishes redness and with proper application can cover somewhat demanding dark circles.
