Glosses have a great comeback! We are free to go back to the young days of freshness, youth, shine and natural look with gloss. I'm always for choosing shades that will complement your complexion and natural lip color. Shine on your lips will give the impression of freshness, will visually enlarge lips and reflect light in a unique way. If you do not feel comfortable with gloss all over the lips, outline them and fill in with a pencil then apply a small amount of gloss only to the center of the lips.
Timeless classic – airy foundation - ideal for those who want a minimum of product for maximum effect. Choose light and moisturizing foundation and powders that will leave your skin breathing. Do not be afraid to show imperfections and your skin. Apply the base from the center of the faces to the outer parts. This will apply most products on the part of the face which often needs more coverage. To correct minor irregularities, use the corrector. If you do not know how to choose a concealer, I have a guide as well as tips on how to choose them and use them.
Infallible combination consists of minimum of makeup and daring red lipstick. This year lipstick can be worn more in a casual way. Forget lip pencils and drawing perfect lines - pat your red lipstick on with fingers for a more natural look. Big Red lipsticks Guide can be found at this link!
Light monochromatic wash of color will fit for all seasons, so I recommend you try mono shades. Delicate golden-pink shades, earth or copper shades…endless possibilities. Apply to the lid itself to get that mono look, and brush and blend lightly to the crease and outer part of the eye, without additional application. Let the natural folds of the eye create natural shadows, without additional contouring and defining. To further emphasize eye color, choose complementary colors - more on the subject of brown and green eyes read in my previous posts.
Instant refreshment – blush! Mild shades of blush on the tops of the cheeks, where it is naturally rosey, giving the feeling of fresh and healthy skin. Apply blush with a soft brush of medium size and focus on the highest point of the cheekbones. Avoid overly bright blushes that have shimmer and chunky glitter and turn to the mat or slightly shiny shades. For the phenomenal effect use creamy blush that will give exceptional color and natural shine.
